One of my favorite things at Christmas time is Christmas “Stollen” German Bread, and Christmas “Panettone” Italian Bread, shaped in a folded oval, then curved into a crescent shape. It is filled with candied fruit, raisins, nuts, Anise, and Vanilla. It is a tradition that I love to do for the family. But this year I got all caught up in the busyness of the season, and almost forgot, until Joe, my husband, reminded me that I hadn’t made any for him!!!!! So last night, I baked some Christmas “Stollen”. Oh the smell of it baking in the oven, and then warm with butter, and Soy Nog!!! Enjoy your family, and special friends, and have a Merry Christmas!!
