The wedding party

We had a wedding at our farm a few days ago, there was much preparation for this beautiful Day!  We deadheaded flower tops, pruned lavender, and watered intensely. Luckily for me, there is an Awesome lady right across the street, that assists me in times like this.  She does lots of the weeding and deadheading, while I set out the sprinklers, watering the lawn. The Party Rental business came to set up the tents for the reception areas. I cleared off a few tables in the retail cottage, for use as “Bridle Dressing Room”. I dressed up a window with a special Cafe’ Curtain, made from an embroidered table runner with a Bride standing under an arbur, and two vintage kitchen linens that belonged to my Grandmother Lucille.  The cottage was ready for the Bride, and filled with the calming aroma of Lavender to sooth her emotions…What a beautiful Wedding Celebration!!! Best wishes to a wonderful future for them!!
