Lavender Wands, or Bottles as they are sometimes called, can only be made when the lavender flowers are fresh. The stalks of the lavender flower are folded over the flowers and gently woven in place, trapping the fresh flowers inside the "bottle". A gentle squeeze & the fresh aroma of the flower emanates from the wand. A very traditional method of preserving lavender, now done as a work of art. All made here on the farm, and very lovely. The scent last for years, and they make a classy addition to a guest's room, or as a conversation piece. Hang them in a bathroom, place them on the bed, with the linens, or wherever you would use a sachet.
